Consider Protecting Your Vacation Investment with Travel Insurance

We know that in today’s world travel plans can change without notice. That’s why Travel Insurance is important to consider during travel planning. By purchasing travel insurance prior to incurring expenses for your trip, your travel, charter, and other trip related expenses can be reimbursed to you should you need to cancel your trip for covered inclusions before the date of embarkation.

Though proof of travel insurance may not be required for boarding your yacht, some destinations may require travel insurance and/or travel medical insurance as a prerequisite for entry into the country. It is the responsibility of each traveler to verify updated travel and entry protocols to determine what type of travel insurance, if any, is required for their destination.

Note that Travel Insurance and Travel Medical Insurance are different types of coverages. Depending upon the provider, these two coverages can be combined into one policy. 

Because travel insurance may be optional based on the destination, and each traveler may opt in or out of different types of coverages, the cost of coverage is not included in charter fees.
